1. Learn a "real life" French expression every day
2. Learn a "word of the day" (Many dictionary websites have a word of the day daily)
3. Read out loud (write down the words you stumble on to check with your teacher)
4. Listen to a French song (and read lyrics at the same time)
5. Listen to the news on BFM TV live
6. Try and have a French-speaking lunch or tea with people from your class or French-speaking people from the school.
7. Listen to the French radio in the morning whilst getting ready. Le Mouv' is a good radio station, as well as France Info (Do not be put off if it seems very fast, the bulletins are repeated regularly, so by the 3rd time you have heard it you will start to understand more and more).
8. Check the results of sports events on French websites instead of English ones
9. Switch your electronic devices (mobile phone, ipad/tablets, ipod/mp3, PS/X-Box, laptop, FB page, Kindle, email, etc) to default language FRENCH. It may be a bit fiddly at first but you will soon get used to it!
