Note 1: To talk about the immediate future, use aller plus an infinitive: Je vais partir tòt demain matin.
Note 2: The (simple) future tense is used to describe a less definite, more remote future. The future tense of regular verbs is formed by taking the infinitive of the verb and adding the endings from avoir: -ai, -as, -a, -ons, -ez, -ont. For -re verbs, the final 'e' is dropped before the endings are added. Manger > je mangerai - I will eat Choisir > je choisirai - I will choose vendre > je vendrai - I will sell B. In these sentences people are wondering what the future might hold. Complete them using the prompt verbs.
Note 3: For irregular verbs in the (Simple) future tense, learn the stem and then add the usual endings. The most common irregular future verbs are aller, avoir, devoir, dire, être, faire, pouvoir, voir, vouloir. C. Translate these sentences into French.
